Miscellaneous Problems - $125 per hour

This covers anything not already mentioned above

Cases are generally handled on a contingency basis.    If Social Security awards your claim they will send your representative the fee directly. If you do not win your case there is no fee.  That means the representative receives a fee only if you win your case.  Representative fees are limited to 25% of the award of your past due benefits. That is one-fourth of those benefits that build up by the time you are found disabled and benefits are paid. Fees are also capped administratively with the Social Security Administration so that the cap can be even less that 25% of past due benefits in excess of $25,000.00.  Normally the fee is 25% of your back benefits and cannot exceed $5,300.00 whichever is less and must be approved by Social Security.($6,000 for fee agreements approved after June 22, 2009)

Under no circumstances do fees come out of current monthly benefits.

There are also costs in each case for which you will be responsible.  These costs are generally fees paid to doctors and hospitals for the copying of records.  If you cannot afford to pay for the medical records necessary to support your application for disability, We can arrange for Social Security to secure these records without cost to you.  There are also costs for travel time, parking, postage and so on.  We try to keep our costs to a minimum for our clients.
